I have been given the great opportunity to use
Tarujen
Mabaru "Maru" in my breeding
programme and therefore decided to let Smilla have a second and final litter.
I am very grateful to Miia & Tommi Jokilahti for letting me use your special
boy as well as trusting me in the combination Smilla/Maru.
Smilla and Maru are extremely healthy dogs which is the number one reason to why I believe they
should be bred from in the first place. They are both x-rayed free on hips and
elbows and they have complete scissor bites.
Both Smilla and Maru are also very lively Rhodesian ridgebacks. They are brave, outgoing and social dogs. When
it comes to body construction my biggest hope is that they will complement each
other very well. Both Smilla and Maru have had big success in the show rings
and their titles speak for themselves. Their natural upstanding posture and
great charisma are qualities they both have in common.
Coefficient of inbreeding for this litter will be 0,0%.
INTERESTED IN A PUPPY?
My ambition as a breeder is to be 100% honest with the
results of my breeding. As a puppy buyer I want you to feel that you can ask
me about anyything and I will do my best to answer. You are
also welcome to contact me whenever you like - there is no bad timing!
In return I expect my puppy buyers to spend a lot of time with, and have and interest in, the dog. I do
not demand that you compete with your dog in shows, obedience, tracking etc
but I would like you to be interested in attending different kinds of courses
as well as activate your dog on a daily basis. You must also think of your dog
as a loving family member.
For those who live close to Stockholm I will arrange at least one set of puppy classes with a very good instructor who has a
special interest in the breed Rhodesian Ridgeback.
I want all my puppy buyers
to x-ray both hips and elbows around the age of 18 months. If you live close to
Sweden I would also be very grateful if you would like to attend the mentality
test that I will arrange for the whole litter around 18 months of age.
The mating between Smilla and Maru is set for May 2009 which means that the puppies will
be ready to move to their new families in September.
